One click in Gmail, pick a time, and the thread comes back to the top: same conversation, unread. Nothing gets hidden in the meantime.
Hi Sam,
Attached is the signed lease. Could you check page 4 when you get a chance? The move-in date changed to the 15th, and I need your initials there before Monday.
Thanks,
Ana
Surface Again adds ↑ to the toolbar above every email. That's the whole interface.
Any thread you can't deal with now: a contract, an invoice, a question you owe an answer to.
Tomorrow morning, Monday morning, or any date and time. The thread stays right where it is.
At that time it's the newest thing in your inbox, unread, on your laptop and your phone.
Click the Surface Again icon in Chrome to see each thread and when it returns. Open any of them in one click.
Unlike Snooze, the email doesn't disappear. You can still find it, reply to it and forward it. At the time you picked, it's simply the newest thing in your inbox again.
The menu, the confirmation and the line in the scheduled reply all switch to the language your Gmail is set to.
The same idea, nothing important goes quiet, is coming to the rest of the places your work lives. None of these are available yet.
Save an attachment to the right Drive folder in one click, with a link back to the email it came from.
A date in an email becomes a tentative event, with the thread and its files attached.
The same ↑ button in Outlook and Microsoft 365, on the same plans and prices.
One invoice for the whole company, add and remove people yourself, install it for everyone at once.
Surface Again presses Gmail's own buttons for you. There's no copy of your mail anywhere else.
It writes one short reply, to you only, and hands it to Gmail's Schedule send. Gmail delivers it.
No sign-in with Google and no access to your mailbox from anywhere else.
The reply goes only to you. Others on the thread get no email and no notification.
Snooze hides it. Stars don't move. Forwarding splits the thread.

| Back on top at a time you pick | ||||

Every feature is in both plans. Unlimited just removes the monthly cap.
No. It runs only inside the Gmail tab you have open. No email content is ever sent anywhere. We count events like "installed" under a random ID, and the Gmail toolkit we build on sends its maker error reports. The privacy policy lists exactly what.
Nothing. The reply is addressed only to you. It says “↑ Surfaced back to the top of your inbox” with a small “Surfaced with Surface Again” line under it. Nobody else gets an email, a notification, or a change in their copy.
The button lives in Gmail on a computer. The thread coming back on top happens in Gmail itself, so you see it everywhere.
No. There's no permission screen and no account. Unlimited is unlocked with a license key.
Yes. Click Undo right away, or open the thread later (up to 14 days) and click Undo there.
Yes, any Gmail account you open in Chrome, personal or work.
Surface Again is in final testing before it goes live on the Chrome Web Store. Leave your email and you'll get the link the day it does.
